From Interstate 95, Exit 8 at Route 278 East. This leads to Hilton Head Island. Once on the island, take the Cross Island Parkway, at the end of which a $1.00 toll will be charged. This road becomes Palmetto Bay Road, which you can stay on to a traffic circle. At the circle, go halfway around to Pope Avenue. Pope Avenue leads to a second traffic circle, which you should take a quarter turn to South Forest Beach Drive. The Hilton Head Metropolitan Hotel is located 2 1/2 blocks on the right-hand side.
